Six New Books and a Trip to My Happy Place

A Trip to the Library

One of my favorite parts of being a preschool teacher is discovering new books to share with my students. In May, I took a trip to the library and came home with six wonderful books to read with my class. There's something magical about walking through the children's section, browsing colorful covers, and imagining the excitement on little faces when they hear a new story for the first time. I've included a video vlog from my visit along with photos of the books I chose and their titles below!

As an educator, the library has always been one of my favorite places. It's more than just a building full of books...it's a place where curiosity grows, imaginations come alive, and lifelong readers are born. Some of my happiest childhood memories involve trips to the library with my mother, and now I love sharing that same joy with the children I teach. Whether we're learning about friendship, animals, feelings, or faraway places, books help us explore the world together, one page at a time.
